Administrative Assistant - Part Time

At CASA of Central Oregon, we recruit, train and support volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA volunteers) who represent the best interests of children in foster care in all court proceedings and throughout the larger communities in Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties. CASA programs are mandated by state law, but lack enough state funding to provide a trained volunteer for every child in need - and that’s where YOU come in.
The Administrative Assistant is the heartbeat of the office. This position is responsible for the flow of information and communication to all employees and advocates. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized with attention to detail, and have excellent time management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills are needed as is knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Gmail programs.
The ideal candidate will have:
The position is part-time (.75 FTE, 30 hours a week). Hourly wage: DOE. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, PTO, flexible schedules, and a positive working environment that focuses on a balanced work-life structure.

- Ability to travel between Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties
- Microsoft Office experience and knowledge (Word, Excel, etc)
- Experience and knowledge with Adobe Acrobat
- Experience and knowledge of Gmail system
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Legal or child welfare knowledge preferred
