Community Challenge Relay

The concept behind the community challenge relay is to bring community agencies together in a friendly atmosphere to support a worthy cause. One by one, teams of four run a distance of 100 feet while balancing the "torch” (a soft plastic cone balancing an inflatable beach ball). At the end of the relay leg each runner passes the torch to a team member who returns carrying the torch in the opposite direction. Longtime CASA volunteer Jeff Lightburn engineered the simple yet challenging torch.
